Heard those before? Perhaps your mom spouted off one of those famous clichés to you years ago after she caught you playing with matches behind the woodshed with the neighborhood bad boy? Maybe you were the neighborhood bad boy? Either way, it doesn’t matter. The point is that you become just like those with whom you associate. If you hang out with drug dealers, you’re going to become a drug dealer. If you hang out with liberals, chances are you’ll end up being a liberal. If you make $40,000 a year, I got a hunch that I can guess the ballpark of your friends’ incomes too. I don’t need to belabor the point. We all understand this to be true.

What I hope we all can also understand, though, is the application of it in regard to the upcoming election. For, if an accurate determination can be made of my beliefs or yours by analyzing our associations, couldn’t the same be said of Barack Obama? I think so. Well then, by all means, let’s dig in a bit.

Reverend Jeremiah Wright

So who is this radical, openly racist, anti-American loon? Well, I’ll tell you. He was Barack Obama’s pastor for 20 years, and he would still be if Obama hadn’t left the church a few months ago for purely political reasons. Reverend Wright married Barack and Michelle. He baptized their children. He was on Obama’s presidential advisory committee. Obama’s book “The Audacity of Hope” was based on one of his sermons. Folks, this wasn’t some crazy homeless guy with a cardboard sign that Obama happened to bump into one day in downtown Chicago. This was a man who played an integral role in Barack’s life for longer than thousands of people set to vote for him have even been alive.

But Aaron, Obama couldn’t really believe all that filth…could he? You draw your own conclusions. Here’s what I know. Barack Hussein Obama sat in a pew Sunday after Sunday for two decades and listened to Reverend Jeremiah Wright spew racist, Godless, gutless, border-line treasonous garbage-filled lies over and over and over again, and it never made him uncomfortable enough to leave the church until it became apparent that it may be a hindrance to his presidential aspirations. In fact, Obama didn’t just tolerate the poisonous ideology of Wright’s over the years, he accepted with open arms Wright into his personal life as a friend and confidant. Heck, he even wrote a book based on one of Wright’s sermons.

Ok, ok, but Barack denounced Jeremiah Wright and his teachings this year, right? Ok. Sure. Whatever. Actions speak louder than words, my friends. So what are you going to believe…Obama’s two minute speech or his 20 year relationship? Your call.

William Ayers

So, who is Bill Ayers, and why should we care? To sum up who he is…umm, what’s that word…uhhh, it’s the same thing that Osama Bin Laden is…oh yeah, terrorist!!! Bill Ayers is a freaking terrorist!!! He is an unrepentant terrorist!!! This is a man who organized a radical terrorist group in the 60′s and participated in bombing the New York City Police Headquarters, the Pentagon, and the Capitol Building!!! This is a man who should be locked up, for goodness sake…but he’s not. In fact, he’s now a professor. He also lives in Barack Obama’s neighborhood, and he and Obama have served on several non-profit organization’s boards together. Ayers even hosted a campaign party for Barack Obama at his home in 1995.

Yes, I’m serious. Is anyone else sick to their stomach right now?

Of course, to be fair, on O’Reilly a week or so ago Obama did say that he hasn’t spoken to Ayers in about a year and a half. Oh ok, good…crisis averted. Are you kidding me? Shouldn’t there be some type of standardized waiting period, like life, in order to run for President if you’ve previously hobnobbed with someone who has bombed the US Capitol and is still proud of it? Good grief. How in the world has Obama gotten as far as he has?

Unbelievable.

But, of course, I’m sure Barack doesn’t subscribe to any of the same ideals as Bill Ayers…

Father Michael Pfleger

So, who is this Michael Pfleger character? Think of him as the white Jeremiah Wright. He shares Wright’s hate-filled, twisted world view, and often he even shares Wright’s pulpit. He also shares a cozy relationship with Barack Obama. He has been closely involved with Obama’s candidacy by throwing rally’s for him, and Obama has returned the favor by giving his church hefty government grants. Pfleger is great friends with Louis Farrakhan as well, who is the leader of the radically violent Nation of Islam, and he is also widely known as one of Barack’s closest spiritual mentors.

What is the world??? Barack Obama might be the next President of the United States? God help us all if he is.

Tony Rezko

For sake of time, let’s just say that Rezko has recently been convicted of 16 counts of felony. He also is one of Barack Obama’s largest monetary contributors and has hugely assisted Barack financially over the years…sometimes not legally.

Just go to the website (unless you have a weak stomach) and read some of the comments sometime. It is a glimpse into the minds of hard-core liberals. Some of the vile trash that is normal to these folks is quite appalling to me. Of course, I can only assume that it is all pretty mainstream to Barack Obama since he attended their last Kos Convention.

As Bill O’Reilly commented to Obama in his recent interview with him, “It seems to me that you are certainly comfortable hanging out with far left-wingers.”

Well duh, Bill, it’s because he is one.

Michelle Obama

Ahhh, the wifey. She seems like a swell gal. You know, if you overlook the fact that she hadn’t, in 40 some years, had one moment of pride for the country that has been so good to her until her hubby started running for President. I suppose her views on America may explain somewhat why Barack won’t put his hand on his heart during the national anthem or wear an American flag pin on his lapel.

John McCain spent five years being tortured for America. Barack Obama won’t even put his hand on heart to honor Her.

What am I missing here? I don’t know, but I’m about spent, so I’m going to wrap this up.

Look, there are plenty of reasons to not vote for Obama. Being rated as the most liberal US Senator or not being remotely qualified to be President are two that jump right to the tip of my tongue. However, if you’re a liberal, no doubt you agree with Obama’s left-wing craziness, and if you agree with that then I’m sure you’ve already talked yourself into the notion that he’s experienced enough to lead our country. That’s fine. However, I want to ask you just one question.

What about character? Politics aside. How much does character matter to you?

“You will know a man by the company that he keeps.”

What about that one? Have you heard that one? Associations reveal character, and Barack Obama is a man who has a laundry list of associations who range from terrorists, to racists, to those who just flat out don’t like America. What does that say about him? I just wonder, after getting to know so many of his friends and their despicable beliefs, how anybody can honestly say that this man, Barack Hussein Obama, deserves to be the next President of the United States of America?

How nearly 50% of the country is ready to vote for him is beyond me.

Barack Obama’s friends are part of the problem (not the solution), and by hanging out with them, so is Obama. He is guilty by association, and you know what, in a small way, if you vote for him…I hate to say it… so are you.

I know that’s harsh, but seriously people, let’s get real about this thing.
